The time has come for the Founder (RidgeGate Investments, Inc.) to turn over its control of the RidgeGate West Village Community Association (RWVCA) to the residents. The Founder will, however, be retaining certain rights that are reserved to the Founder in the Charter such as the right to submit additional property to the Charter and architectural control for the initial design of residential products.
The RWVCA By-Laws require the formation of a Transition Committee to perform certain tasks related to the turnover, in collaboration with the association’s management company, MSI. This committee has been formed and is composed of RidgeGate residents Dan Clawson (Bluffmont Heights), Les Lundstrom (Renaissance), Bill Albright (Bluffmont Greene), Catherine Jorgenson (Bluffmont Estates) and Van Nicholson (Lincoln Park). In addition, a three-member Nominating Committee will be formed to develop a slate of candidates for the new all-resident board.
The attached map [Contacts>RidgeGate Master>the map is at the bottom on the page] shows the boundaries of the RWVCA and identifies the Service Areas and Sub-Associations within it. The RWVCA operates as the master association while each of the Service Areas has an ad-hoc or elected Service Area Committee that advises the board on the association matters specific to its neighborhood. Bluffmont Estates operates under its own separate Sub-Association Board since it has a condominium ownership structure. The map also shows the areas within RidgeGate that are maintained by other entities such as the South Suburban Park and Recreation District or the Rampart Range Metropolitan District.
Residential development in RidgeGate east of the Willow Creek drainage corridor is planned to be included in a separate new master association to be called the RidgeGate Central Village Community Association.
Information regarding the transition process and board of director’s election will be mailed to all homeowners. For questions regarding this transition, or to request a Board Candidate Qualification Form, contact Shannon Torgerson, Association Manager, at 720-974-4224 or storgerson@msihoa.com
Also, please visit the community website, www.msihoa.com, to access your Community Charter and other community governance documents and to find notices regarding upcoming meeting dates related to the transition.
